Dallas Arts District Launches 3-Week Festival During FIFA World Cup 2026
A lineup of free and ticketed programs across the district will pair with the FIFA World Cup 26 matches to highlight local museums, parks and performance halls.
How we reported this

The Dallas Arts District Fest will run June 19 through July 9, 2026, with a calendar of block parties, performances and museum programs timed to the arrival of FIFA World Cup 26 crowds.
The announcement came from the city’s major cultural organizations on December 5, 2025, as Dallas prepared to host matches for the global tournament. Organizers said the events aim to give North Texas residents and out-of-town visitors a direct look at the museums, parks and performance spaces that define daily life here.
Block parties and museum nights anchor the schedule
Four signature dates fall inside the Arts District footprint. On June 19 the PRIDE Block Party will stretch from the Crow Museum of Asian Art through the Dallas Museum of Art and Nasher Sculpture Center, turning Flora Street into a music and visual-arts gathering that has drawn thousands in past years. June 26 brings Flora Street Live, with ticketed shows at the Winspear Opera House and Meyerson Symphony Center plus free programming in Strauss Square and Sammons Park. July 4 places the annual Independence Day celebration at Klyde Warren Park, featuring live music and fireworks as part of the America 250 commemoration. July 9 closes the run with a soccer-themed Thursdays on Tap evening at the Perot Museum of Nature and Science.
Additional programs outside the district core will still feed visitors into the city’s wider cultural map. The Dallas Zoo and new Halperin Park will stage lantern-lit walks and pavilion performances on June 21. Deep Ellum hosts its Literary and Music Festival on July 11, while Oak Cliff’s Copa de Cliff takes over Bishop, Jefferson and Winnetka avenues on June 24.
Public art and last-minute details still ahead
A multi-site public art installation is also planned, with locations and designs to be released early in 2026. Further programming specifics for each venue will roll out closer to the tournament dates.
Residents and visitors can track updates through the Dallas Arts District and the individual host organizations listed in the December 5 release. The full schedule and any ticket requirements will appear on those sites as the June start date approaches.
